In this episode Maxwell Cooper, M.D. interviews Mehdi Maghsoodnia, a serial entrepreneur that is currently Co-Founder and CEO of 1health, a digital health company with a centralized digital platform for diagnostic tests. Mehdi discusses his previous work in tech companies in Silicon Valley and how he has taken that experience to create 1health into an efficient digital infrastructure for ordering, receiving, and analyzing diagnostics. The 1health platform allows for more diagnostic tests to be available to physicians and patients from more vendors to enable wider access and lower costs. Mehdi also discusses how 1health is working on ways to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their platform to generate novel analyses of healthcare data that can be used to improve patient care. Lastly, Mehdi gives advice for medtech entrepreneurs on picking which ideas to pursue, how to carefully select your co-founders,  and how to build a team that can execute your vision.
