Episode 11: Interview with a Radiologist and Physician-Author

In this podcast episode we interview Dr. Cullen Ruff, an Attending Radiologist at Fairfax Radiology Centers in Virginia, and the author of the book "Looking Within: Understanding Ourselves Through Human Imaging" which provides non-fiction narratives about finding new discoveries in patients through medical imaging and how that provides a unique window into their lives. Dr. Ruff describes his path to radiology, current radiology practice, and his inspiration for telling patient's stories through imaging in his book. He also gives insight into the process of writing and publishing a book as a physician. During the discussion, Dr. Ruff also reflects on his career as a radiologist and provides advice for aspiring radiologists and aspiring physician-authors.
